New technology revolutionises relocation estimates!

Taylor’s, Toowoomba’s Smoother Mover has launched new technology to provide greater convenience to customers and allow for accurate estimates of relocation costs.

 

Traditionally, an on-site visit was required in order to provide a firm quote for a relocation. We would schedule a meeting with property owner to measure size of items to be relocated to calculate total volume of job, gauge site access, determine what packing materials are required in order to provide a firm estimate for a relocation as well as an accurate understanding of operational requirements for vehicles and staff members. This required property owner to make time during business hours for removals surveyor to come and view the property prior to issuing a quotation. Now arranging a survey is as simple as making a Facetime call.

 

Taylor’s Removals and Storage Managing Director, Melissa Taylor, believes this innovation will transform the moving industry and highlights the company’s commitment to customer service and innovation. “We can now offer clients from any geographic region a firm quote based on a thorough pre-removal survey of the site, which previously was limited to those residing within a 50km range of Toowoomba. As we do many relocations from Western Queensland and interstate we can now provide customers in those areas the confidence of a full on-site assessment.”

 

Our customers simply schedule a convenient time, including evenings and weekends, download an app to their smartphone (Apple or Android), and speak face to face with our surveyor. They video the items they wish to move while conversing with our surveyor who assesses requirements and asks any pertinent questions. The video is recorded and stored on a secure cloud based server and provides surveyors ability to accurately estimate volume of items to be moved as well as knowledge of the site for access for the truck and removals team.
