Our People are the greatest assets at Taylor’s Removals and Storage. Their experience and knowledge of the industry, along with their dedication to our customers is at the core of our success.
We celebrated the longevity of several of our employees this month and estimated some fun facts on what they’ve been doing to keep themselves busy during this time.
On 20 October, our Removal’s Consultant, Mick Ahern, celebrated 13 years with Taylor’s Removals. We estimate Mick has been on over 9,500 site visits during his time with Taylor’s and his attention to detail during site visits is the secret to our reputation as “The Smoother Mover”.
On 9 October, our Removal’s Support team-member Lee Coveney celebrated ten years with Taylor’s Removals. We estimate Lee has completed over 3,000 relocations during his time with Taylor’s. His ability to coordinate the moving of heavy and cumbersome items with team-members is truly impressive and your precious items are safe in his capable hands. (Lee missed the morning-tea as he was out on a job – but we saved him a slice of cake!).
On 26 October, our Operations Manager, Bart Brown celebrated seven years with Taylor’s Removals. We estimate Bart has quoted over 7,500 relocations during his time with Taylor’s, as well as being in charge of the coordination of our fleet of trucks and moving specialists. Bart is truly a logistical genius and ensures work is done efficiently and well.
On 5 October, our INFOstor Programme Coordinator, Derek Barker, celebrated six years with INFOstor by Taylor’s. During this time Derek has registered over 51,000 boxes, retrieved over 45,000 files and destroyed over 6,000 bins of confidential documents. His speed at locating requested records in our warehouses is astonishing and his development of our priority and urgent delivery retrieval options are a testament to his mastery of our records management system.
